We have built up a good reputation in Medical Negligence and dealing with Serious/Catastrophic Injury cases and are now looking for an experienced and dedicated Clinical Negligence and/or Catastrophic Solicitor to join our team as a HOD in Rochdale.

Position Overview – You will be given the responsibility to handle new and existing case load of serious, catastrophic and clinical negligence cases. You will also be responsible for assisting and supervising members of the team.

• Deal with all matters pre and post issue in an efficient and timely manner
• Investigate merits of potential claims and provide strategic advise to clients
• Motivate and provide inspirational leadership to the team
• Work alongside the Partners on strategy and objectives to ensure the department continues to grow.
• Opportunity to progress to a Director within the company
Requirements
Qualified Solicitor or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years experience in dealing with serious injury or medical negligence.
• Track record of dealing with high value and complex matters with successful outcomes
• Enhanced knowledge and understanding of case law, legislation and procedures.
• Able to utilise technology and enhance productivity of the case management system(proclaim)
• Experience or understanding of how to grow a team

Pay – £50,000 – £90,000 subject to experience
